Monday

the next chapter.

I'm embarking on a journey, one that may seem out of the blue. But for those that truly know me already know, this is something that I'm extremely excited to do. I will be taking off on Thursday in the afternoon and I will be flying to Edmonton and landing just before the setting of the moon. While I'm there I will be meeting up with some people that I truly miss, I will be celebrating my friends birthday and I'll spend some time in the mountains.

After spending a week in the city, my friend and I will be heading out, we will be driving through the country on a quest to see what the prairies are all about. We will be driving through and stopping in little towns along the way, driving short distances and stopping to do touristy things during the days. So far it has not been decided where we will be sleeping, but we're considering KOA sites, enjoying being true Canadians by doing some camping. At the end of our long journey after the final hull that takes us through northern Ontario, we will be in our Nation's Capital  to celebrate our country's birthday, we'll be cracking open beers and blasting our stereo!

What comes next will be a music fest unlike any other, lasting for two weeks that includes the appearance of Tegan & Sara, The Black Keys, and even Mother Mother.

Up next is an adventure to visit some of my Irish friends on their soil; this is a place I've always dreamt of seeing, a dream I can no longer foil. There I plan to spend a month, a month of observation and delight, even a visit to England is in the mix of plans, it is a good price and a short flight.

I will return home to my favorite city but I think I will quickly move along- I have recently been asked to go to NYC with some of my family to visit friends that we miss and haven't seen for too long. We will see the sights and the big bright lights, the tall buildings and the flashy stores, the weird people and central park, we'll enjoy the eastern shore.

And after all of this has happened, and I am sure that there will be changes and glitches along the way, I will be returning to my favorite city to celebrate, with family and friends, my 24th birthday.

Once the hangover has subsided and the details have been sorted through, I will be jumping in a little Honda civic with  my friend and that's when we will head East, setting out as we cruise. We plan to visit a part of each Eastern province, see the water and the beauty of the land, visiting people and new places as we make our way all the way to Newfoundland.

I am excited for this journey, I needed a breath of something new. I've been craving for some kind of an adventure, now I am ready for that chapter of mine to materialize and come true.
