Questioning purpose out of the intrigue to know the answer; There is a threat that comes with the absence of knowledge; a fear of being left behind, in the dark, and missing out.
Our power to learn and absorb the lessons laid out before us is one that can remarkably leave us feeling powerless because as we continue to gain knowledge, we learn more of that which exists that we know little or nothing about. We can possess the want and the drive to gain infinite knowledge, it is this drive that allows us to grow as individuals and build ourselves, strengthen ourselves, allow ourselves to flourish and to succeed. But does the human specie possess the ability to know everything, to possess infinite knowledge?
The more knowledge that we acquire leads us to form more questions, motivating us to seek answers; to learn. There is a comfort though, that comes with not possessing the knowledge of all things and the realization that one will never know everything there is to know, a comfort in knowing that infinite knowledge is a dream that we can strive our hardest to achieve and in its quest we will never lose; for in this quest, we will continue to learn and grow, and discover more to learn.
The goal to gain infinite knowledge is not a defeating goal, for as long as we continue strive for it, utilizing the tools that surround us in order to continue to open our minds to new information, gaining knowledge and insight as we continue in our efforts, we grow, we gain, we become more confident as a result of our knowledge and understanding of the world that we live in. Comfort comes from the satisfaction of learning and knowing that as long as one continues to seek knowledge, one will gain knowledge.
This dream of infinite knowledge facilitates power through the obtaining of information, of knowledge, and granting us with an individual strength of insight, understanding, knowledge, personal growth; it is a dream that ultimately allows us to open our minds and engage with the world and all of its wonders. When we open our minds to the world we can truly understand how small we are in comparison to it and the wonders that it holds, and as we continue to ask questions, we will continue to grow, we will continue to flourish through the findings of our quest.
