There are those moments that stick with us, sitting in the back of the
mind, replaying occasionally. Experiences that made us feel something
different: passion. Those testing moments that prompt so many questions. Analyzing
what will not change - what will be, will be - those little moments hold on. So
insignificant to most everyone else, these insignificant moments are just that.
Loosen the grip. Just let go. A simple concept.
To let go when things have been left unsaid is difficult. Unsettled feelings remain. High on emotions that are left unspoken, haunted by a conscience that is both naive and hopeful. To look on without acknowledgement comes with a weight that crashes dauntingly on.
Unforgivingly, the heart eats away at the mind. The mind eats away at the soul. What could have been is insignificant. So insignificant, yet so powerful; what is is.
Not to be ashamed of or dishonest about, feelings make us human.
Listen to them.
Accept them.
Trust them.
Life experiences create reactions in and around us. Emotions are not a conscious decision. We cannot choose our feelings. We can accept them, learn from them, and grow. Moments that we are left with, to think and assess, with time we let go; we must.

We are brought down a road, a road that can not be choosen but somehow relates perfectly to who we feel we are. This is the road of life, the road that brings us to our ultimate being even though we do not know that ultimate being. Its the person that we only hope exists on the horizon its the reason we live.
